Luke wants to show the
course of the Christian mission, the
fate of the Word of God that calls us to faith,
by hearing, by keeping and
by bearing fruit in patience.
Satan wants to prevent this aim. He appears
as the enemy of the Christian mission.
The parish, that is spoken to, is urged to
stick to the Word of God.
